Personal Data Protection
Article 1: Scope of Application
These conditions apply to all sales concluded through the Joujou.ch website between Joujou.ch ("We") and the person placing the order ("You").
Article 2: Data
We use the data you provide to prepare and process your order. We transmit your data to the company responsible for delivering the goods. For payment processing, we transmit your payment data to our bank. We do not share your data with other third parties or for advertising purposes. Upon completion of the contract and full payment of your invoice, we block your data from any further use before deleting it at the end of the legal retention periods.
Our website and other systems are secured by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification, or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. Despite frequent checks, absolute protection against all risks is not possible.
Under the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), you have the right to free information about your stored data (Art. 8 DSG) and the right to correction (Art. 5 para. 2 DSG). Your information requests can also be submitted electronically to the competent authority.
You may also request that your data be deleted, insofar as it is no longer needed for contract processing, and also request their blocking.
This site uses Google's retargeting service (or Remarketing) which allows Google, through the use of cookies, to identify visitors who have been on our site and present them with online advertising after they leave the site.
For any questions regarding access to and processing of your personal data, please contact serviceclients(@)joujou.ch
Article 3: Log Files
When you use this website, the web servers record impersonal usage data. Log files provide information about your IP address, the last website visited, the browser used, the date, time, and the file requested.
Article 4: Cookies
On various web pages, we use cookies to make visiting our site more attractive and to enable certain functions. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer's hard drive. Most of our cookies are deleted from your hard drive at the end of your browsing session (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your computer and allow your computer to be recognized on your next visit (persistent cookies).
You can prevent cookies from being stored by following the appropriate procedure in your browser settings. However, Joujou.ch informs you that such deactivation may prevent you from accessing certain functions of the site.
Article 5: Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by cookies about your use of the site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the site, compile reports on site activity, and provide other services related to site activity and internet usage.
Google may share this information with third parties where required by law or where third parties process this data on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. By using this website, you expressly consent to the processing of your data by Google as described above.
Article 6: Facebook Social Plugins
Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network Facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). These plugins are recognizable by the Facebook logo or the mention "Facebook Social Plugin".
When you access a page on our website that contains one of these plugins, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly to your browser by Facebook and integrated into the web page.
The integration of the plugins allows Facebook to receive information that you have accessed the corresponding page on our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account. If you are logged into Facebook, it records the visit to the website in your Facebook account.
Facebook may use this information for advertising or market research purposes. If you do not want Facebook to associate the data collected on our site with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our site.
Article 7: Newsletter
When subscribing to the newsletter, your email address and phone number may be used for our own promotional purposes as long as you are subscribed to this newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Article 8: Revocation of Consent
You have probably given the following consent. We remind you that you can revoke this declaration of consent at any time with future effect: I want to receive the newsletter with new products (unsubscribing is always possible).
Article 9: Credit Cards, Postfinance, and Invoice Payment with CembraPay
Your credit card data is encrypted using proven SSL technology. Each transaction is also subject to an authorization request and online credit check with the credit card company (Datatrans, Postfinance, CembraPay). On your credit card statement, purchases are identified as CDPL Online-store. Your banking data is never stored.
Article 10: Integration of Trusted Shops Trustedbadge
The Trusted Shops trustbadge is embedded on this page to display our Trusted Shops trustmark and all collected reviews, as well as to offer buyers Trusted Shops products after an order.
These operations serve to protect our legitimate interests in optimal marketing of our products. The trustbadge and associated services are provided by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.
When you access the trustbadge, the web server automatically records a log file. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten no later than eight days after your visit.
Other personal data is only transmitted to Trusted Shops if, after completing an order, you have opted to use Trusted Shops products. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.
Article 11: Security
The Joujou.ch website is committed to taking all necessary and useful precautions regarding the risks presented by processing, to preserve data security and in particular, to prevent data from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
