Here is Clearblue, a pregnancy test that is among the most reliable on the market. This test can be used reliably 4 days before your period. In this case, the first morning urine should be used. If you take this test on the day of your expected period, it does not matter what time of day you choose to take the test.

Using this test is very easy. Simply remove the cap and hold the control stick down under your urine stream. You can also dip the control stick into a previously collected urine sample. The rod should be in contact with the urine for only five seconds. The rod will instantly turn pink when it has absorbed the urine. Then replace the cap and wait two minutes.
